About Casey Campbell Photography

The desire to tell stories and capture the moments in this world for all to see has kept me behind a camera for the last decade.  I cherish every opportunity to catch those brief moments in time.  

I have spent much of my career as a photojournalist, working for a daily newspaper in Corvallis, Oregon, covering everything from collegiate athletics, to breaking news, to theater productions.  My background in photojournalism has provided me the experience to go into almost any situation and capture the moments without becoming part of the proceedings.  I believe it is important to capture events as they happen without really influencing how they occur.  This is particularly true of live events like concerts and dance performances, where you must try to get the best photos without disrupting the viewing experience for the audience. 

Over the last couple of years, my primary focus has been sporting events (primarily women's roller derby),  theater photography (including headshots, press photos and production stills), performance photography (focusing on burlesque and belly dancing) and corporate events (such as conventions and conferences).
